The Pearl Street Block Party offered valuable lessons for the teams, which they immediately incorporated into the next iteration of their prototypes.
SFI! is a first-hand experience with the importance of iteration and incorporating feedback to improve products and services. Paul Farber, a guest speaker from Monument Lab, shared the process, pitfalls, and successes of the project. Following his presentation, each team presented their project to a panel of critics.
After weeks of tweaking and a great critique from guest critics, the four teams made adjustments to their prototypes. This time, they had the opportunity to test them at the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission. Some of the team served dinner while others asked for participation with the prototypes.
All four teams received thoughtful feedback and will incorporate the responses into the next phase of the project.
